While making the imprints is a quick process; the hardest part is deciding exactly what you’d like. Prepared and served in hand-crafted tea bowls from our sister company Match Stoneware, guests enjoyed matcha tea alongside traditional Japanese sweets. Miles then led a discussion on tea, tradition and how its evolved in modern times to be more inclusive. This was a 2-day glazing seminar, where Alex demonstrated brush-on glaze techniques and presented the new Fantasy Glaze line from Coyote. Students got to glaze pots using these glazes then have them fired.
